When I work with dogs as scared as Gummy Bear who will possibly bite out of fear, I leave them settle for a few days or sometimes even a week before I start to handle them. I’ve been working with her for around 2 weeks now and I can already see big improvements in her, but she still has a long way to go. I say special because Gummy Bear is incredibly scared of us humans and our intentions and really needs an experienced home with people who will be nothing but understanding and patient with her. She is extremely hand shy and needs a really experienced owner who have had terrified dogs before to help her.
